Not only this dressing is super-clean and healthy, it's bursting with flavor! Nutritional yeast and apple cider vinegar add some tangyness to the taste, and miso paste rounds it all up creating a well-balanced dressing. Basil is a potent herb and possesses some amazing health benefits. It contains powerful antioxidants, helps fight inflammation and cancer, contains natural antibacterial properties and acts as a natural adaptogen helping the body handle stress more efficiently. Just one more reason to eat more salads!
1/4 cup cold filtered water
3 Tbsp. gluten-free low-sodium tamari (I use SAN-J -TAMARI-REDUCED SODIUM [Gluten Free])
1 cup fresh basil
2 Tbsp. nutritional yeast (I use Anthony's Premium Nutritional Yeast Flakes)
1 garlic clove, minced
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
3 drops liquid stevia (I use NOW Foods BetterStevia Liquid)
1/2 Tbsp. organic, unpasteurized miso paste
1 1/2 Tbsp. raw apple cider vinegar (I use Bragg USDA Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar, with The Mother)
1. Prepare the ingredients.
2. Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
Store in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 2 days, but best served fresh.
You can add a bit more miso paste to make the dressing smoother.
If dressing separates, shake well before serving.

Serve on top of a green salad.
