Oil-Free Anti-Inflammatory Turmeric Garlic Salad Dressing

I absolutely love this dressing! You can put it pretty much on anything, and it is boosting with health benefits. Turmeric is considered one of the most powerful anti-inflammatory foods, and combining it with black pepper increases its absorbency by your body by 2000%. Garlic (another great inflammation fighter) and miso paste add depth and flavor, and raw organic tahini contains just enough natural oils that you don't have to add any extra fats.
1 tsp turmeric powder (I use Organic Turmeric Root Powder (2lb) by Anthony's, Curcumin & Non-GMO)
1 tsp white miso paste
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 garlic clove, minced
1/4 cup filtered water
1/4 cup raw organic tahini (I use Artisana Organics - Tahini Sesame Seed Butter)
1 generous pinch of black pepper
Whisk all ingredients together until well-combined or for the perfectly smooth dressing blend it in a blender.
The dressing will thicken a bit when refrigerated. If it is too thick, add some more water, a little bit at a time, until the desired consistency is achieved. This dressing will keep in a sealed container in the fridge for up to a week.
