Kekela Farms is a Family-run business dedicated to growing vegetables of the highest quality and with exceptional flavor.

We are very familiar with this brand and with years we developed high confidence in quality freshness and taste of their product. Thumbs up!

KTA Super Store in Waikoloa Village

This is my favorite local grocery store. They have a very good selection of produce at reasonable (for Hawaii) prices. You can find almost anything in here from cassava root to dragon fruits. They carry a lot of fresh local fruits and vegetables, including a great variety of the organic ones. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which makes it fun to shop there on daily bases.

King's Shops Farmers Market at Waikoloa Beach Resort

King's Shops shopping center holds farmers market on their premises every Wednesday from 8:30am till 1:30pm. They have a multitude of local vendors there with various products including fresh fruits and vegetables. There you can get more exotic fruits like white pineapple, relenia, sour sap and star apple, of course, when they are in season.

Waimea Town Market

The Waimea Town and Waimea Homestead farmers markets are comparable in size (between 20 and 30 vendors). The Wednesday mid-week
farmers market at Pukalani stables in contrast is
a bit smaller with 20-30 vendors. Both Saturday
farmers markets are a great early breakfast location to start your Saturday! I am not going there often enough, but it's worth checking out.

Also known as Waimea Natural Food Store, it is definitely a place to get familiar with if you are a vegan, vegetarian or just a no label foodie.

Healthways II is here to provide the  Waimea community and our visitors
with the finest quality fresh, natural, and organic whole foods, nutritional
supplements, body care products, and health information in a friendly, safe environment.

Mauna Lani Sports & Fitness Club at Mauna Lani Resort

The Mauna Lani Sports & Fitness Club features state-of-the-art equipment, a wide array of fitness classes, a lap pool and a professional, friendly team to assist you with your fitness goals. The best part is a Tuesday's hatha yoga class with Noah from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. A must try.

Under The Bodhi Tree Restaurant

at Mauna Lani Resort

This is one of a few vegan restaurants on Big Island

of Hawaii featuring fresh, organic, locally sourced produce. I have eaten there numerous times and enjoyed their food. When you don't feel like cooking, that is a great alternative for a healthy and tasty meal.

Most recommended and visited by us restaurant on Kohala Coast. Although not a vegan menu, fresh salads and on-spot customized vegan dishes will satisfy most of vegans, but the regular menu will amaze the rest.

This page is dedicated to the businesses located on the Big Island of Hawaii. These are the brands and companies whose products and services I personally use and recommend to everyone. If you are not familiar with them, please check them out.

Waimea Yoga is a place dedicated to our community and to the
guiding principle that yoga truly is for every body. I love the teachers

and the classes, and I go there at least once a week.
